School canteens in Madagascar: a crucial issue for education

Madagascar is a country where many children suffer from malnutrition, and less than 10% of Malagasy pupils receive meals at school.

At the School of the Little Giants, almost 90% of pupils attend the canteen and enjoy a balanced daily meal. The meal is sometimes enhanced by vegetables from the school garden.

This represents real support for these children, who often have no other balanced meals during the day. It also helps children to stay in school regularly, easing the daily burden on their families.💙
